Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers or managers in scheduling and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage day-to-day tasks for electrical systems, ensuring their efficient operation.
- Monitor outsourced maintenance providers to ensure they meet standards and schedules.
- Quickly resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize disruptions to hospital operations.
- Coordinate improvement projects for hospital services and facilities.
- Provide technical support to the maintenance team, troubleshooting system failures.
- Make recommendations for system replacements or upgrades as needed.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and schedules for project execution.
- To support, implement and manage as necessary in cyclical and improvement projects by both the department and hospital.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Have prior experience with design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems & equipment will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in management of electrical services and facilities operation as well as improvement projects will be an advantage.
- Prior working experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage.
- Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Communicate and engage stakeholders effectively
