Responsibilities
- Responds to employee enquiries, providing support on hardware and software issues.
- Keep communication with the employee open to avoid any misunderstandings.
- Work closely with the regional team to ensure that group practices and standards are followed.
- Follow the IT Policy and Procedures; comply with all internal and external regulations.
- Work closely with external vendors for the best interest of our company.
- Working outside of office hours may be required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ideally 4-6 years of IT support experience within the financial services industry.
- Experience in supporting voice systems (BT Turret or Cisco IP Telephony) is preferred.
- Network and Data Centre operation experience is favorable.
- Minimum 3 years solid trading floor support (preferrable supporting Fixed Income).
- Strong vendor management skills are required.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team whilst also being comfortable working without supervision.
