DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure the project timeline and budget adhere and design requirements are specified and delivered.
- Liaise with customers for any technical discussion.
- To provide support for spare parts, sales, and engineering project RFQ.
- To manage and ensure project costs are within budget, pre-BOM and post-BOM consolidation.
- Monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problem.
- Update project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and recommending actions.
- Support the mechanical team to generate 2D drawing when needed.
- Working closely with the manufacturing team on DFM, generating assembly processes and qualification procedure, including documentation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years in designing industrial automation equipment, product assembly, and test fixtures.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the machinery or manufacturing industry
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Able to effectively interact with a variety of personnel at all organisational level and customers.
- Committed and self-motivated, a life-learner and good team player, able to work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment
- Analytical minded with strong organisational skills and acute time management skills.
