AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
We are looking for experienced Business Development Rep to help advise our Web3.0 customers on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technology. This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the Web3.0 industry, expert knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure and a solid understanding of the transformational value cloud technologies can bring.
In this role, you will play a key role in executing our go-to-market strategy. You will engage with customers to determine business needs, identify opportunities and issues, and develop related technical solutions and value propositions leveraging the power of AWS cloud technology.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in blockchain cryptocurrency industry vertical.
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) and Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
The right individual will leverage industry expertise, architecture experience, and customer-facing skills to be a "trusted advisor" to customers. They will be able to facilitate relationships with senior executive stakeholders, as well as easily interact with and give guidance to technology experts, software developers, IT professionals, and system architects.
Basic qualifications
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, fluent in Mandarin and good command in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments
- BA/BS degree required, Masters or MBA a plus
