Job Description:
The incumbent is responsible to perform heat treatment/NDT works on site based project requirements so as to support the achievement of the sales targets. The incumbent is also responsible for performing the steel works inspections on site as a third party in accordance with projects / consultant specifications with reference to International standards.
- Perform heat treatmentand NDT works on site according to client’s instructions and test procedures and ensuring jobs are on track
- Follow safety protocols and measures to ensure safety at work site
- Perform the planned preventive maintenance measures to ensure availability and reliability of equipment for the projects
- Collate relevant approved documents by client for billing processes
Site Operations Planning
- Prepare for the inspection jobs for the assigned project as per approved Inspection Test plans (ITP)
- Perform reviewing activities to ensure meeting the project requirements
Works Implementation & Progress Monitoring
- Carry out the assigned inspection jobs on site as per client requirements
- Conduct pre-welding and post-welding inspection activities (e.g., material inspection, fit up, visual inspection, etc)
Completion of Test Report
- Prepare inspection reports for submission to client
- Submit inspection reports/certification for review and billing process
Job Requirement:
- 3 Years in marine construction and Oil & Gas.
- Familiar with Word/Excel/Quality software
- Certified with:
- ASNT / PCN Level ll in
o Liquid Penetrant (PT)
o Magnetic Particles (MT)
o Radiography (RT)
o Ultrasonic testing (UT)
