RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, modification, and implementation of a modified Android AOSP for fine-graine monitoring of Android applications
- Design, modification, and implementation of an Android kernel to support the modified AOSP
- Experimenting the modified AOSP and kernel on both real handsets and emulators
- Evaluating the security capability and performance of the system
- Supervising other team members and managing project progress
- Research Engineer: Minimum Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from an institution
- Research Scientist: Minimum PhD Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution
- Good communication skills in English
- Relevant research experience in computer security and related areas is a plus
- Advanced level of programming and software implementation, especially in C/C++ and Java
- Good understanding of Android architecture and Android executables
- Good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable in software security problems and solutions
- Research experience in software and system security related research
- Applicants with research publications in security area will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
