Key responsibilities:
- Assist in all facets of Proof of Concept (POC) and demonstrations for Robotics and/or Machine Control Solutions to the OMRON Application Engineer, sales Engineer, and/or customer.
- Support OMRON’s Application Engineer and/or Sales Engineer team in the Sysmac Control Platform/Robotics solution demo, POC, and troubleshooting, in-house or at customer sites.
- Support in-house Robotics kit Design/Assembly and Testing.
- Tests and carry out proof of concept of total integrated software/hardware solutions as per customer requirements as advised by OMRON’s Application Engineer and/or Sales Engineer.
- Coordinate and support promotion & marketing events such as Roadshows, seminars, exhibitions, etc.
- Other duties which may be assigned from time to time to achieve corporate objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a discipline related to electronic or mechatronic engineering.
- Robotics and PLC-related learning, eg. Programming
- Organized team player, able to work independently.
- Disciplined and helpful to others
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in both spoken and written English language skills
