The Singapore subsidiary of a public listed regional freight forwarding company specialising in Aerospace Logistics is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Airfreight Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Import and Export operations including AOG time critical shipments ;
- Ensure full compliance with customs and airport regulations ;
- Supervise and train a small team of executives ;
- Hands-on in full scope of airfreight operations ;
- Ability to source rates and quote customers ;
- Oversee and verify all month-end billing ;
- Display high level of professionalism and work ethics ;
- Any other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of CCN/ Customs Regulations.
- Knowledge in handling Dangerous Cargo.
- Knowledge in handling AOG Shipments
- At least 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Previous experience handling key clients and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.
- Willing to do Standby on weekends and public holidays on rotational basis.
