Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies, provide design specifications, and support design proposals.
- In-charge of conceptualizing and designing high precision automation or semiconductor equipment.
- Create 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor or similar.
- Carry out various assessments and tolerance stack-up on important design parameters affecting the development project's quality.
- Creating assembly methods and qualification procedures, together with the necessary documentation, in close collaboration with the production team
- Perform troubleshooting, testing and qualification.
- Work closely with other teams to meet project deadlines, budgets, and design specifications.
- Responsible for sourcing and procuring all mechanical and process components.
- Other ad hoc may assign.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- With 2-4 years of experience in designing industrial automation equipment, product assembly, test fixtures.
- Prior experience in Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly.
- Competent with 3D CAD in Autodesk Inventor.
- Willingness to travel.
