Location: North-East Region of Singapore
Job Description:
- Practice standard precaution and wear full PPE during work
- Rinse all soiled surgical supplies and equipment and prepare them for mechanical cleaning
- Assist in the assembling of simple instrument set
- Ensure all sterilised goods after sterilisation are placed at the correct shelves
- Load and unload supplies and equipment from the terminal sterilisers
- Clean identified steriliser and sterile processing equipment
- Empty and bag up all pathological and general waste at the preparation, packing and decontamination areas according to Waste Disposal guidelines
- Clear and bag up dirty laundry and send them to the disposal area according to hospital practice, and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of department at all times
- Perform portering duties when need arises
- Perform any other duties assigned by the department-in-charge
Job Requirements:
- Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent
- Able to read and write in simple English
- Able to work in shift system
