This position is critical to promote revenue & market share growth for Worldwide hotels through strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures.
- Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to derive insights about the competitive environment and business trends to improve competitive decision making and further the marketing objectives.
- Liaise with VP Revenue Management to identify opportunities for efficient/accurate data collection in the distribution and revenue management area.
- Monitor new and existing program and product initiatives and evaluate results to understand effectiveness and improve revenue performance.
- Minimize rate parity issues across all channels and provide solutions to prevent wholesale/static rate from flowing into OTA and other business segment.
- Maintain and establish effective inventory controls & pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness across the competitive set.
- Provide Channel Management Analysis and revenue potential (Monthly & Quarterly).
- Ensure disciplined understanding of Opera Cloud PMS, Channel Manager Systems ( i.e Siteminder) configuration in terms of Revenue and Channel Management for alignment.
- Handle / Supervise Best Rate Guarantee Claims.
- Supply critical analysis on the effect of short and long term decisions affecting Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
- Knowledgeable of City Events, Conventions, Holiday Seasons in Singapore and key business source countries.
- Maintain and analyze Revenue by Room Type and esnure appropriate room types sales through the various channels.
Brand Website
- Involvement in Singapore marketing programmes and related products for online delivery.
- Effective implementation and monitoring of online marketing programs.
Developing OTA Partnerships
- Manage Online Travel Agency accounts ensuring their compliance with WorldWide Hotels strategies.
- Ensure all OTA website displays correct information at all times (Inventory Mgt / Rate Delivery).
- Maintain and ensure accurate rates and inventory allotments with internal and external partners in a timely manner and ensure Rate Parity throughout all booking channels.
- Endeavour to position the hotels properly on the first page of all OTA websites.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with OTA key clients.
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by direct report.
Analytics & Projects
- Provide Channel Management Analysis and revenue potential (Monthly & Quarterly).
- To identify areas to increase performance on Online Distribution channels (i.e.Rate Plans, Room Type Description, ADV Offers, POS, Geo Source).
- To analyze and determine whether Hotels is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels.
- To identify revenue generating and cost savings opportunities via operational efficiencies.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution and/or have gained 2 years of distributions experience the hotel industry.
- Solid knowledge of Revenue Management functionality & tools (OTA Extranet, Channel Manager i.e. SiteMinder, Opera Cloud, RPMS).
- Be well versed in creating and using Excel spreadsheets with complex formula.
- Proven record of working independently, a self-starter.
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
