Main Responsibilities
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes.
- Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc.
- Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
- Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
- Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident.
- Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during the course of work.
- Proper handling of company assets and equipment.
- Submit driver’s D/O on a daily basis.
- Check and update vehicle daily checklist.
- Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises.
- Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers’ premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers).
Requirement
- Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore.
- Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements.
- Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
- Familiar with container yard operations.
- Familiar with Low Bed trucking.
- Good time management.
- Self-motivated.
- Good team player.
- Hardworking, positive attitude and committed to work.
- Accident free and clean driving records.
