Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Medical sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Lab Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Note: This is a 1-year contract position, convertible.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various testing procedures, and review the processes and results
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all testing procedures assigned
- Ensure adherence/compliance to both internal/external guidelines (eg. GMPs, ISO regulations, etc.)
- Participate in the identification/resolution of quality-related matters on the production site
- Prompt the company’s operations team on any issues that could potentially affect the customers’ overall experience
- Participate in the company’s various audit processes and quality assurance procedures/checks, provided feedback when necessary
- Maintain the necessary equipment calibration, ensuring the laboratory's operational efficiency
- Ensure all laboratory operations are conducted safely/efficiently, complying to the necessary guidelines
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory working experience
