Joint System Engineer (India)

Location: Chennai, India

Schedule:

  • Workdays: Monday to Saturday
  • Hours: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Perks: 11 days of home leave for every 9 weeks of work

Responsibilities:

  • Dive deep into existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for new technology integration.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to develop and integrate innovative system solutions aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, system requirements, and specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing procedures for new systems and updates, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Manage project timelines, assess risks, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing and evaluating innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in systems engineering or related roles within the manufacturing sector, preferably in consumer electronics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in systems analysis, programming languages (Python, C++), system modeling tools, and database management (SQL). Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, analytical mindset with troubleshooting and optimization skills.

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Project Management: Certifications such as PMP are advantageous.
  • Automation: Experience with manufacturing automation and robotics is highly valued.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices is beneficial.
  • Client Interaction: Prior experience working with US corporate clients is advantageous.
