Position Overview:
Our client, a leading Systems Integrator (SI) specializing in ERP solutions, in their search for a talented Solution Architect. This role is crucial in providing expert knowledge and guidance to clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional SAP solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business requirements and develop tailored SAP solutions, prioritizing an integrated approach to meet client objectives.
- Provide expert technical consultation to clients, understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions and services.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary support and solutions for client projects.
- Design comprehensive technical and solution architectures aligned with best practices and client requirements.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase technical design, configuration, and customization of SAP products to clients.
- Collaborate with project teams and consultants to enhance product/service development and understand user behavior and preferences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to provide valuable insights and advisory services to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive proficiency in SAP products, projects, and architectural solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP best practices and suitability assessments.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT are advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify client requirements and develop use cases in SAP ERP based on their needs.
- Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
- Experience in solution architecture, project requirements in SAP, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Versatility in working across multiple industries and workstreams to deliver aligned solutions.
- Functional experience in multiple SAP modules, including FICO, SD, MM, eWM, and PP/DM, is preferred.
- Experience in implementing full project lifecycles in SAP architectural design, S/4 HANA migration and upgrade, BASIS, and performance testing is an added advantage.
