Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Pharmaceuticals sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Energy Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead programs aimed at enhancing utility operations, overseeing the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives across the plant, including the preparation and submission of relevant documentation
- Identify energy cost savings, and propose strategies to optimize energy usage
- Conduct thorough energy audits to assess consumption patterns and potential conservation measures
- Utilize energy modeling techniques, measurement tools, and commissioning processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Gather on-site data through observations/inspections to support energy conservation modelling and analysis
- Evaluate construction designs and specifications to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards
- Generate comprehensive project reports and technical documentation when necessary
- Research and evaluate renewable energy systems for feasibility and potential implementation on site
- Facilitate regular site energy team meetings to coordinate efforts and track progress
- Monitor energy usage and costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets
- Act as a subject matter expert in energy metering management
- Liaise with site leadership and personnel regarding energy program objectives and achievements
- Prioritize and oversee the implementation of energy-related initiatives
- Promote awareness of conservation practices and usage habits among site personnel
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any relevant field of Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Possesses Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification
