Responsibilities
Responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer consultations. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer consultations
- Ensure timely creation of quotations on SFDC, follow up on purchase order and creation of SIF in CMS/CSS
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers, both remotely and on-site as needed
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services (up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies)
- Work closely with the product team to ensure a thorough understanding of product capabilities and limitations
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as needed
- Provide training and support to sales team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, molecular, biotechnology)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in local academic research area, a focus on NGS products and services will be a plus
- Strong understanding of NGS technology and the life sciences market
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
