Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of telecoms technicians for site execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and function testing of telecommunication systems.
• Site management of commissioning shipped-loose items, consumables and spares.
• Ensure that commissioning testing activities are conducted safely and complies with the site PTW and safety regulations and procedures.
• Carry out troubleshooting of faults arising during commissioning tests.
• Submission of commissioning documentation such as checksheets, test procedures, red-line mark-up drawings, etc. completed during commissioning tests.
• Preparation of daily timesheet submissions.
Requirements:
• Diploma / Trade Certificate in Electrical / Instrument or equivalent.
• At least 8 years working experience on telecommunication equipment.
• Experience in testing of PAGA, Radio (VHF, UHF, Marine, TETRA), CCTV, AV
• Equipment, Meteorological System, FO Network, LAN/WLAN, PABX, etc.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team with strong troubleshooting skill.
• Familiar with Permit –To-Work system and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Good understanding of Electrical Safe Working Practices.
• EEHA Certified (COMPEX)Trained.
