Responsibilities
You will be a member of the staff reporting to the Executive Director. Your roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Volunteer Management
· Develop a volunteer management strategy to foster strategic and sustainable collaboration and partnerships with corporate and individuals
· Coordinator to manage existing volunteers and develop volunteers in skillsets and learning opportunities in volunteerism
· Develop, plan and execute creative volunteer recruitment and retention strategies for befriending programme and other areas and events
· Review, enhance and implement volunteer management policies and processes (e.g. volunteer selection, training, development, recognition, engagement)
· Monitor and evaluate volunteer activities to ensure effectiveness
· Organise annual Volunteer Appreciation
· Develop risk mitigation measures and a volunteer continuity plan
· Identify emerging approaches in volunteer management and evaluate volunteerism trends and impact which will value add to the volunteer engagement strategies and approaches.
Partnerships & Fundraising Management
· Fundraising Strategies & Targets
· Conceptualise, plan, develop and execute fundraising strategies and events
· Resource management including alignment with volunteer management resources
· Ensure compliance with statutory fundraising requirements and Code of Governance
· Pitch for sponsorships and donations
· Continuous exploration on collaborations opportunities with other SSAs, community stakeholders, corporate partners and government agencies.
· Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree holder
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in volunteer management & fundraising
- Proven track record of working with volunteers, corporates and community groups
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
