Responsibilities
· Advice and support in the implementation of the requirements of the EU
General Data Protection Regulation, local national data protection
requirements
regarding international data transfer and Fresenius Binding Corporate Rules
(BCR) within Fresenius Kabi
· Advice on and review of data protection contracts of all kinds in an international
environment with effect for Fresenius Kabi
· Support in the administration and further development of the global data
protection management system
· Development of guidelines, templates, training and communication measures
in the area of employee and patient data protection
· Development of a monitoring and reporting system to measure the
implementation status of data protection regulations at all locations
· Advice and continuous sensitization of the specialist departments on data
protection issues
· Data protection review in connection with the introduction of new business
models, processes and systems
· Support for data protection audits and risk assessments
· Supporting the publication of value flows to healthcare professionals,
healthcare institutions or patient organizations of the European Fresenius Kabi
companies
Requirements
· Candidate must possess at least University degree in law, economics, computer
science with additional training in data protection
· At least 5 years of professional experience in data protection (including patient
data protection & contract negotiation) in an international company or
consultancy, preferably in the medical technology or healthcare sector
· Know-how in the proactive further development of a data protection
management system
· Fluent written and spoken German and English
· Conscientiousness and accuracy
· Analytical skills
· Convincing appearance
· Ability to work in a team and cross-functional cooperation
· Solution orientation and consulting affinity
· Specialist knowledge of European and international data protection law as well
as knowledge of the data protection and contractual requirements for
international data transfers.
· Experience in working with European supervisory authorities in the field of data
protection and in drafting data processing agreements and data protection
guidelines in companies.
· Knowledge of data protection retention obligations in the field of medical
technology and healthcare.
· Experience in negotiating all types of data protection contracts, both internally
and externally
