RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform outbound telesales calls to market and sell MSIG products (largely on Motor Insurance) to support MSIG/individual goals/objectives
- Create and maintain proper customer information
- Using the telephone to perform outbound calls as a marketing tool to market, promote and sell insurance to Scheme Partners' customers
- Answering telephone calls, attend to telephone queries from customers and direct such calls to MSIG Customer Service where necessary
- Performing any after-call functions to complete the cycle of the call
- Achieving pre-set targets for the individual and assist in the achievement of the overall sales target as set by MSIG in consultation with Scheme Partners
- Providing feedback and suggestions on programmes handled to improve and/or enhance existing and future telemarketing programmes
- Ensuring that each call handled meets the service standards of Scheme Partners and MSIG
- Creating and/or maintaining proper client, call and sales records
- Ensuring confidentiality of data in the manner and to the extent required by the Scheme Partners and by this Agreement
- Perform duties/tasks ancillary to the selling activities cited above, including mailing, typing, faxing and dispatching from time to time
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Scheme Partners and prior agreed by MSIG from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
- GCE O' level preferably with professional insurance qualification
- Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI)
- Preferably with HI certificate
- Experience in telesales
- Good product knowledge of GI personal lines products, especially Motor
- Knowledge of telesales operation
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to handle challenging situations with maturity & confidence
- Able to handle rejections and find motivation to overcome objections
