The Deputy M&E Manager is responsible for the coordination of M&E services; lead our own in-house M&E Superintendent and/or Coordinators in ensuring smooth installation and well maintenance of the project.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Involve in project management and contract administration of project.
- Identify key design and delivery issues / solutions or risks.
- Establish and maintain good relationship with clients / developers, sub-contractor and suppliers.
- Review M&E tender documents and highlight contractual requirements including proposal for value engineering.
- Liaise with statutory agencies, client, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors and project site operation team to facilitate installation works and progress on site.
- Manage interfaces and coordination works, design and construction of transit projects with all System Wide Contractor (SWC) and Domestic Sub Contractor (DSC). [Applicable for LTA projects]
- Adherence to safety practices in the work site / place.
Value Add of Position
- Knowledge in BIM for design coordination.
- Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University / Polytechnic.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical services from A1 main contractor and have sufficient track records working with civil contractors and design consultants for LTA projects or Buildings projects.
- Experienced and knowledgable in Project Management and Contract Administration.
