RESPONSIBILITIES
The Scope:
The Asst Tech Ops Exec/Engineer is expected:
i. MOC:
- To perform allocated tasks in the areas of for linear and non-linear TV playout & Radio operations.
- To monitor the performance of TV playout & Radio equipment and processes and communicate any issues for troubleshooting.
- To maintain TV & Radio service logs for compliance purposes which involves the constant monitoring of systems over long shifts and periods.
- To report any anomalies or system faults immediately once detected.
ii. Media Playout TV/Radio Infra Tech Support:
- To support the design, installation and maintenance of broadcast enterprise systems at Media Operations Centre, TV Playout, Radio Playout & Production and centralised technical facilities.
- To assist in delivering infrastructure projects, which includes system integration, acceptance tests and enhancement work.
- To perform preventive and corrective maintenance of broadcast related equipment and infrastructure and involves delivering infrastructure projects as per technical instructions, standard procedures and learning on-the-job in maintaining broadcast equipment and systems of TV & Radio Playout Automation System, Central Audio & Video Core Router, Central Production Intercom System, Broadcast Control and Monitoring System.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic Diploma or University Degree in Technical discipline.
- Possess IT networking skill, any audio and video technical knowledge will have priority.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proficient in written and communication skills
- High concentration level as well as an eye for detail to spot problems and issues.
- A team player who is able to work independently and is prepared to perform shift duties
