Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to upgrade the hardware and software systems and ensure that the in-house system are operating optimally efficient and effective.
- Track and monitor security of hardware and software systems and to recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve productively.
- Design, program, and implement new application solutions for the various functional departments within the Institute on a timely basis.
- Implement and manage the security or integrity of Institute’s IT systems and to provide comprehensive maintenance and back-up procedures.
- Identify users’ needs so that the current and future application systems and facilities meet users’ requirement.
- Establish and implement administrative guidelines and procedures to ensure that all software developments are produced timely according to the methodology and requirements.
- Conduct regular training sessions for users on IT systems.
- Ensure documentation for each system is created and updated.
- Oversee and maintain the smooth running of the Institute’s computer network system.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Studies.
- At least 5 years in managing Linux, Ubuntu, Windows and Apache Servers; system and infrastructure management and deployment including telco switches, network switches, Wi-Fi network and Firewall.
- At least 3 years in application deployment in cloud computing environment; cybersecurity for local area network, firewall and cloud environment; domain, SSL and Active Directory management; web application development using PHP, JavaScript, C# and Python; project and software development on Github
- Good communication skills and a team player.
