In this position, you will be working on Cameron products and services. Cameron is part of the SLB product family and is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
Job Description:
To support the Project Managers in the execution of customer projects. Depending on the resource allocation and workload, Project Coordinator may be required to manage the execution of customer projects. These projects would not be challenging by design and would not be complicated as defined in the project scope of work.
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer the deployment and administration of a robust document management system to facilitate timely document review, approval, and documentation in an effective and efficient manner.
- Assist Project team related to documentation issues and advice appropriately on document control procedures and requirements for the project
- Monitor key milestones and coordinate key actions on behalf of the Project Management department in ensuring key activities are complete
- Interface with functional departments on the progress of the work, updating the project plan where appropriate to identify the relevant activities and critical items having significant impact on the project
- Communicate with other departments and plants to ensure accurate information is always made available to facilitate effective decision making for the benefit of the assigned work.
- Assisting the Project Managers to prepare weekly customer progress reports
- Performs quality control and maintenance of registers/Database of all documents and correspondences received/issued by the project
- Implementing processes and tools, providing system reports, maintaining, and updating document record. To ensure ease of retrieval always
- Ensure accuracy of all Project management documentations and in compliance to processes, procedures and work instructions
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Working knowledge of project management concepts.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet customers' deadlines and requirements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and SAP (preferred)
- Ability to carry out job required under minimum supervision in a fast track and demanding environment.
