Job description:
- Lead workstreams and provide technical know-how and support, as well as plan and conduct experiments to develop novel manufacturing processes for high performance battery thermal management applications.
- Collaborate with research and industry partners for product and process design and optimization.
- Conduct material, component and module characterization in terms of microstructure, properties and performance.
- Provide timely project updates and report to team members and industry collaborators.
- Coach and guide new engineers for proper career development.
- Support other research and industry projects.
Job requirement:
- Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering.
- Basic understanding of metal and ceramic materials, processing and characterization.
- Interest in hands-on lab-based work
Some of the technical skills we are looking for:
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- At least basic undertsnading of thermal phenomena and thermal management.
- Some level of understanding of battery pack structures, manufacturing and system management would be an added bonus.
