Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan for Curriculum & Programmes (C&P)'s academic related and corporate related administrative workflow in relation to and maintenances of: a) The use of LMS (Canvas) for all full qualification courses and some online CPDs
    b) The use of SMS (Vitae) for all full qualification courses
    c) The use of Practicum system for related full qualification courses (PET and CET)
    d) Liaison with external agencies and ministries related to course endorsements and funding
    e) Liaison with internal divisions for processes where C&P is the driver, providing data when necessary
    f) C&P Sharepoint as storage for critical information related to C&P’s core functions and processes, ensuring systematic and logical versioning.
  2. Provide oversight of duties carried out by academic admin staff related to academic and corporate functions in: LMS
    a) LMS b) SMS
    c) Practicum system
    d) External liaison duties including vendors that provide services to C&P
    e) Internal liaison duties (budget, costing, payment, contracts, assets, etc)
    f) Maintenance of Sharepoint
  3. Monitor, Evaluate and Recommend improvements in: a) Workflow efficiency (through SOPs)
    b) Cost saving (through digitalization)
    c) Manhour saving (through digitalization)
  4. Develop staff under his/her charge through: a) Professional development in key areas that affects productivity, personal growth and well-being
    b) Initiating workplan, appraising performance
  5. Manage projects: a) Invitation to Quote (ITQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) processes
    Proposal writing/vetting
    b) NIEC copyright management
    c) Training Provider Quality Assessment (TPQA) under SSG


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of performing either a primary or secondary function in managing curriculum / quality of education services and programmes or related functions
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • Good content knowledge on planning, systems, SOPs
  • Good IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office and educational tools / apps)
  • Have an eye for details, is meticulous, focused, consistent
  • Good time management skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Note: All new hires will be offered a two-year contract in the first instance. Contract renewal and emplacement on permanent appointment will be subject to continuous good performance.
