The Purchasing Executive shall play the important role of sourcing, negotiating and purchasing a wide range of products & services for the company's operations. He/She needs to possess the following qualities:
- Able to work independently
- Highly resourceful with wide contacts & procurement network
- In-depth research of potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from various suppliers
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Present and make recommendations to management
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
- Prepare Purchase Order
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
- Must be a person with integrity that will evaluate vendors' offers based on merits without impartiality
The candidate should have the following skills:
- Experienced working with standard Microsoft Office Applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experienced with A2000, Deskera and other common ERP system will be a plus
- Well-versed in conversational and written English
- Maturity, ability to take constructive feedback and learn new skills
- A team player
- Pleasant personality
- Strong negotiation ability
