With Intelligence are recruiting two Client Relations Associates to join our Singapore based team.
Successful candidates would help organise investor-centric events in Asia Pacific for institutional and private investors (sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, foundations, endowments, and family offices) to discuss topics relating to alternative investments and asset allocation frameworks and help in facilitating introductions to top-performing asset managers (hedge funds and private equity managers).
We connect institutional investors and alternative asset managers (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, etc) through events and insight-enriched data. Our investor powered data helps clients make smarter allocation decisions. Our events provide unique access to the investor communities and leading hedge fund managers globally.
Duties of the role will include :
- Establish and own relationships with key investment professionals at Asia Pacific’s top institutional investors, family offices, hedge funds and private equity managers to maximise their participation and engagement across our investment conferences.
- Utilise various channels, including email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to reach and engage with existing clients as well as target list of new prospects.
- Researching profiles, generating new sales leads with warm calling to a list of prospects to build on our network of investors and managers
- Travel to event locations (Hong Kong, Macau, etc) to manage key stakeholders and program agenda.
- Facilitate introductions between the featured asset managers and investor clients at our events and be the main point of contact for investors to assist them during the manager screening process.
- Ensure all introductory 1-to-1 meetings take place as planned and coordinate internally with team members as required.
- Take complete ownership of investor participation and engagement targets.
- Work directly with the Head of APAC to understand business segment needs required for sustainable growth, contribute new ideas and ways in which we can work with our clients.
- Personable and articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills (specifically listening and questioning skills), and comfortable speaking to senior-level investment professionals over the phone.
- Ability to manage client relationships over the telephone with a confident and intelligent telephone manner.
- Driven self-starter who can identify and target relevant contacts not yet familiar with our firm, and someone who is confident in their ability to establish new relationships.
- Interest in travelling is ideal or at least have no objections to travel as required.
- We are open to candidates with no prior experience who have a keen interest in building a career in the financial services industry.
