About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Trade & Logistics Compliance Coordinator to support our Logistics Compliance team. The successful candidate will ensure up-to-date documentary records for import and export shipments, maintaining compliance with GST record-keeping requirements and Singapore Customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Retention:

  • Support the maintenance of the records retention program as required by business needs and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and regulatory agencies (Singapore Customs and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore [MES Scheme]).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for the records retention program to ensure alignment with company policy.
  • Upload Customs Permits, Airway bills, delivery orders, and commercial invoices into NetSuite for retention.
  • Ensure all shipping documents (for export and domestic shipments) are filed according to company policy.

Track and Trace:

  • Perform daily tracking of all inbound shipments to meet on-time delivery (OTD) and provide daily inbound visibility summaries to planners.
  • Validate all inbound shipment volumes with our logistics service providers (LSP) daily to avoid overflow.
  • Manage warehouse overflow issues by diverting deliveries to external warehouses and rearranging deliveries.

Support Shipping and Export Operations Compliance:

  • Coordinate with shipping and forwarders to secure flights and meet OTD.
  • Review daily shipping documents to ensure compliance with trade and shipping practices (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, and airway bills).
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations and trade compliance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in trade compliance and international shipping requirements.
  • Ability to multitask, with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel).
  • Able to work independently with a proactive attitude and a passion for learning and providing feedback.
