Our client is a Europe MNC, one of the leading players in the Freight Forwarding sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Warehouse Operations Executive to be part of their Warehouse team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.
The Warehouse Operations Executive's responsibles are:
- Coordinate and manage daily urgent, direct loading, and special project shipments with subcontractors.
- Conduct thorough physical checks of import and export cargoes to ensure their proper condition.
- Verify documents and match them with physical cargo before receiving and releasing shipments.
- Monitor the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments using in-house systems.
- Ensure accurate re-weighting and measurement of physical cargo.
- Collaborate with internal departments and customer service teams to address documentation or cargo discrepancies.
- Labeling, picking, sorting, packing, and labeling of cargo according to customer requests.
- Load/unload containers, palletize loose cargo, and conduct in-house surveys as required.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with in-house SOPs.
- Monitor and update inventory in the warehouse storage.
- Inspect equipment machinery daily and report any issues.
- Handle valuable cargo clearance and lodging at terminals.
- Coordinate urgent shipments from terminals to Changi FTZ agents based on customer requirements.
- Provide cross-departmental support within the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse premises.
- Adhere to safety rules, wear required PPE, and promptly report any unsafe acts or incidents.
- Report any suspicious personnel or goods movements to security, supervisor, or manager.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Min N Level and above
- Min 3 years of warehouse operations experience
- Possess Forklift license
