Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Assistant Manager, Regional Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Regional Audit:
- To prepare risk-based audit plans in order to set out the priorities of regional audit assessments and scopes.
- To perform regional audit assessments (full cycle) from preparation, onsite fieldwork, reporting and follow-up.
- To present regional audit plans and results of assessments to Management Audit DEPT, business domain / segment, parent companies in Japan.
Regional Compliance:
- To promote and penetrate Company Group Global Policies and Procedures (“GPPs”) on Anti-Bribery / Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust / Competition Laws, and Export Controls / Strategic Trade Management, etc.
- To support Company Group / Regional / Corporate policies & procedures enactment and revision process.
- To coordinate compliance seminars in the Region.
- To execute compliance trainings in the Region.
- To execute risk assessments in the Region.
- To participate in ad-hoc investigations and reviews of non-compliance cases.
- To chase the latest compliance news in the Region, and provide the information to companies in the Region.
Local Compliance:
- To promote, penetrate and support AP’s internal control and compliance (Anti-Bribery / Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust / Competition Laws, and Export Controls / Strategic Trade Management, etc.).
- To serve as a checker for contacting with competitors application, donation / entertainment / gift application (providing / receiving), export control / strategic trade management screening, etc in line with Company GPPs and Singapore Laws & Regulations in the viewpoint of compliance.
- To provide regular compliance trainings and monitor the status of annual Company Group e-Learning.
- To perform self-check assessments (QAIP, J-SOX and Export Control, etc.) and report to HQ.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
5-years experience in compliance activities (and possible internal audit)- Experience of compliance promotion activities (Anti-bribery / Anti-Corruption, AntiTrust / Competition Laws, Export Controls / Strategic Trade Management)
Certified Internal Auditor (preferred)- Compliance Certification (preferred)
International Travel (South East Asia, Pacific and India)
