R&D Design Engineer Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for setting the FCBGA substrate design team’s goal and strategy based on company's annual operating plan and execution
• Overall responsibility for product specifications, design, and certification samples of FCBGA products manufactured and associated EDA tools such as Cadence APD and Ansys simulation tools
• Trial production and design

1. Send, receive, manage, and edit customer data
2. DRC (Design Rule Check) Implementation, System Registration
3. DFM (Design For Manufacturing) Implementation, Customer Response
4. Drawing Creation, Design Optimization and Customer Approval
5. Create, edit, and manage design and manufacturing data
6. Tool Data Creation
7. Create data for process checks
8. Product specifications, process flow settings, system registration
9. Summary of manufacturing condition setting.
10. Review of related divisions of prototype development results
11. Summary of Quality Confirmation Results
12. Transfer of production of prototypes
13. Cross functional collaboration

• Standardization, operation

1. Create, standardize, and validate input and design guidelines
2. Create and standardize operation flow rules
3. Create and standardize Correction rule/policy
4. Training and development of design engineers

• Roadmap

1. Survey of customer and industry technology trends
2. Create a technology roadmap
3. Summarize and manage development items, through research and innovation

• Customer Response

1. Customer response point for technical inquiries
2. Regular meetings with customers

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent qualifications and experience.
2. Manager has at least 5 years of post-semiconductor process or design experience

• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

1. knowledge of semiconductors and customers
2. Experience creating CAD/CAM, specifications, and drawings
3. Experience with measurement, analysis and reliability assessment tools (preferred)
4. Basic knowledge of substrate manufacturing process (desirable)
5. Skill to solve problems that are difficult to moderately complex
