R&D Process Engineer Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for developing production plans and schedules based on company's annual operating plan and execution
• Responsible for overall production conditions and standardization responsibilities related to FCBGA manufacturing
• Overall responsibility for product quality, and quality stability (by reducing manufacturing variation) and quality improvement (by research and implementation)
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to continuously enhance production Quality and Yield
• Production process conditions, management settings, and optimization (Resin, laser, electrolytic copper plating, desmear/electroless, circuit formation, AOI, SR, external shape, surface treatment, solder, inspection machine, etc.)
• Productivity Improvement Activities (Including standardization, revision of work procedures, and automated process checking), addressing all capacity constraints
• Selection and evaluation of materials used in production
• Setting up and evaluating process equipment used in production
• Setup and evaluation of inspection, measuring and analytical equipment used in production
• Application of changes to the process
• Standardization (Technical Standards, Work Standards, FMEA, Control Plans)
• Cost reduction activities
• Roadmap Validation and Implementation (Design rule verification, new materials, etc.)
• Responding to technical meetings with customers

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent qualifications and experience
2. Manager should have at least 5 years of post-semiconductor process or production technical experience

• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

1. Have knowledge of semiconductors and customers
2. Have basic knowledge of chemistry, electricity, machinery, etc.
3. Experience in quality and productivity activities on the production line (desirable)
4. Experience with measurement, analysis and reliability assessment tools (preferred)
5. Basic knowledge of substrate manufacturing process (desirable)
6. Skill to solve problems that are difficult to moderately complex
