- Ensure Procedural Area Readiness
- Adhere to Procedural Areas Readiness in terms of common administrative and operational areas e.g. Ensure Procedure area space is clean, overall décor, brochures, materials and posters are updated, administrative equipment, lights, air-con and telephone are functional in clinic public spaces are down
- Assist with smooth patient journey including registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering and enquiries. E.g. Ensure accurate and timely registration at the counter
- Ensure patient’s Insurance providers are maintained and bills are accurate.
- Follow-up with pre/post scope/operation administrative duties. E.g. Ensure patient receives accurate and timely pre/post-procedure information E.g. book/reschedule procedures and appointments, follow-up on no-show according to doctor’s instructions and TCU information are provided accurately.
- Attend to appointment requests, emails and phone enquiries.
- To provide financial counselling to patient on the fees for consult, investigations, procedures and medication where applicable.
- To provide value added service as developed eg. Phlebotomy, Therapy Aid, Basic ADL assistance
- To lead / train junior staff in value-added services
- Participate in quality improvement project and assume other responsibilities tasked by the clinic/nurse manager, service team leader and/or service executives.
Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
- Candidate must possess at least “A” Levels/Diploma
- Proficient in computer skills
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed.
- When required, candidates should be comfortable with shift work.
