Our client, a MNC, is looking for a dynamic individual to join them as Regional Corporate Communications Executive
Description
This role is based in Singapore, the regional head office in Asia Pacific. The incumbent is expected to handle the day-to-day communications needs for the Singapore operations while supporting the Asia Pacific subsidiaries in the implementation of global communication initiatives.
Local Responsibilities
- Plays an integral role in the development of media pitches, facilitating interviews and responding to media inquiries.
- Support the preparation of corporate presentations and draft speeches for management team.
- Plan, coordinate, and execution of corporate activities such as media interviews, VIP visits, townhalls, regional meetings and corporate social responsibility activities.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on brand compliance in line with Corporate Identity Guidelines, including the use of corporate logos, tone of voice and production of various corporate materials.
- Strategize, plan, and produce social media content calendar that aligns with branding and communication objectives.
- Conceptualization, creation, and curation of social media content with compelling storytelling through photography, video, animation and other design skills for various social media platforms such as, but not limited to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
- Analyse and report on social media performance metrics to guide future communication strategies.
Regional Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of all regional communication activities, with the aim of increasing brand presence in the Asia Pacific region.
- Monitoring of social media content to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in tone, visuals across official social media channels in the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore.
- Coordination of regional events such as the annual regional communication conference
Requirements
- University degree with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in corporate communications, branding and/or journalism.
- Proven experience in local public and media relations
- Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional, multinational team in the Asia Pacific region, including senior management.
- Demonstrate competency in creating social media content primarily for corporate audience.
- Strong command of English with good presentation and written skills
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Prior experience in video production and photography is highly desirable.
