Edtech Data Analyst - Full time position

As a Software Engineer Intern at KiteSense, you'll have the opportunity to work with a team of software engineers, data scientists, and designers to build innovative and scalable software solutions that make a meaningful impact on the lives of learners.
Responsibilities
- Data exploration: analyse data using statistical techniques and visualisation tools to identify patterns, correlations and anomalies
- Machine learning and predictive modelling: build and train machine learning models to make predictions, classifications and clustering
- Feature engineering: identify and create relevant features from the data to enhance model performance
- Model evaluation and validation: assess performance of models, finetune parameters and validate the results to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Data visualisation and storytelling: present findings and insights in a clear and understandable manner, in reports, presentations and dashboards
- Data preparation and pre-processing: clean and transform raw data into a usable format and ensure data quality. Design and maintain data models and data pipelines.
- Data sources: identify sources of data to support business operations , develop data models and master data references, ensure data warehouse models in sync with data source changes
About you
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a can-do attitude and welcomes the opportunity to roll up their sleeves to get things done and drive results. We hope you’re excited about the position! To make the most of the role, you would have to be:
- A graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or a degree in a related field
- Outstanding analytical skills in working with unstructured datasets
- Outstanding ability to understand data and data models
- Proficient in the use of data analysis tool eg. Excel, Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL/Python
- Outstanding written, oral and organisational ability
