about the company:
My client operates in the premium athletic apparel industry. They are currently expanding their team and are seeking a Supply Chain Risk Evaluation Specialist to join their growing team. This is a 12-month contract position.
about the team:
This team is dedicated to enhancing the supply chain's transparency to identify possible legal, reputational, social, environmental, or financial risks. They actively assess and mitigate risks associated with new vendors and develop strategies to address potential risks within their current supplier network.
about the role:
The role involves leading efforts to map the corporate ownership structures, including subsidiary operations and shareholders, of all known suppliers. Utilizing this information, they will proactively identify potential flags for supply chain risks that necessitate further due diligence measures.
Job Scope:
- Conduct thorough research on active suppliers using internal and external sources.
- Identify subsidiaries and shareholders of suppliers.
- Check new data against our list of high-risk entities.
- Escalate high-risk findings to the Risk Management team.
- Create visual maps showing corporate ownership, highlighting high-risk connections.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in supply chain research and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and import regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting research, understanding, and summarizing information
