Role: Application Support (Banking)
Primary Skills:
- 3RA (Unix/Linux, Java, Weblogic, Windows Server, MS Office) - CLAS & CDMS & Clouds
- Jboss
- Oracle DB
- Shell scripting
Responsibilities:
- L2 Support:Understand the application architecture and interfaces to upstream/downstream systems.
Provide support for day-to-day IT operations and resolve production issues.
Analyze issues raised by users or monitoring systems and perform impact analysis.
Suggest workaround solutions for service recovery.
- Monitoring and Prevention:Specify monitoring requirements to detect system abnormalities.
Proactively observe and address potential issues before they occur.
- Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning:Conduct application capacity planning.
Perform performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Disaster Recovery:Participate in and conduct regular DR simulations and live DR exercises.
- Interpersonal Communication:Communicate effectively with internal IT teams, business units/operations, and external vendors.
Possess strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across various work groups.
