Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC FairPrice and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a WMS Specialist at Fairprice Supplychain, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our warehouse management system to meet the dynamic needs of our fresh food distribution centers. You will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the Dematic DAI WMS system. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance within our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of the Dematic DAI WMS system, including configuration, customization, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and configure the WMS system to align with operational goals.
- Conduct thorough testing of business flows to ensure quality delivery for production use.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for geographically distributed Operations Managers regarding WMS system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve efficiency within the fresh food distribution centers.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and data analysis purposes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in WMS technology to drive innovation and optimization within the supply chain.
- Actively participate in WMS migration projects and provide expertise to ensure seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide training and support on WMS system usage.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to maximize productivity and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Warehouse Management Software solutions, preferably Dematic DAI WMS.
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL with experience in developing and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting software business systems and identifying root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with E-Commerce industry practices and operations management concepts is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess operational barriers and propose effective solutions.
- Experience working with ERP systems and warehouse management products is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel when required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
