Position : Assistant Manager - Patient Safety and Quality Improvement (PSQI)


Contract period : Immediate (1 year)

• Temporary staff who worked for 3 months or more are entitled to staff benefits.

• Total duration for engagement of temporary staff is capped at one year.


Working hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6pm

Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

With an hour lunch break

(with one hour lunch break)


Salary :

Senior/Executive $11.70 per hour (‘N’ level, ‘O’ level, ‘A’ level, Nitec, Higher Nitec with 8-14 years of work experience); or (Diploma with 0-2 years of work experience)

or $13.60 per hour (Diploma with at least 3 years of work experience)


Assistant Manager $18.50 per hour (Degree with no work experience


Job responsibilities

1. Proofread and coordinate inputs from internal and external stakeholders for national guidelines/policies, which may include liaising and scheduling meetings with committee/workgroup members and stakeholders.

2. Manage appointments and provide administrative support to the various teams on patient safety and quality improvement projects.

3. Compile reports, submissions, meeting agendas and follow-up actions.

4. Perform secretariat and administrative duties for divisional and external meetings.

5. Undertake scanning and analysis of scientific literature to guide MOH’s strategic and operational policies.

6. Any other assigned duties.


Job requirements

1. Comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders which include senior clinicians, academics and medical professionals from healthcare institutions.

2. Meticulous and good time management skills.

3. Able to work independently and also as a team player.

4. Clinical knowledge will be advantageous but not mandatory.

5. Analytics-minded and details oriented.

6. Able to function in a fast-paced environment.

7. Good verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
