Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Marketing of EuropAce Cooking and Home appliances.
- Achieve Market Share, Product Sales and Profit Targets.
- Manage Inventory (PSI)
- Plan and Strategize Product Line Up, New Product Development which includes half yearly Presenting Product RoadMap (PRM) to the Sales team, Trade Buyers and Dealers
- Liaise with Factories on product sourcing, development, negotiation on prices, trading terms, etc.
- Minimum Twice yearly overseas travel to trade shows
- Create Brand Awareness and Consumer Demand
- Manage and Control the Marketing Budget
- Weekly Market Visits to gather Market Intelligence
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to grow the business and gain market share
- Meet Buyers and Dealers for Market Feedback, Plan Marketing Activities, Co-op programmes, Close Bulk Deals, and establish Good Relationships and Support.
- Work with 3rd parties such as Ad Agency, Events organiser, Digital Marketing both on ATL and BTL work
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- A proven track record in Marketing Management position
- Technical/engineering knowledge will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of Sales and Marketing Management Experience in Consumer Durables, preferably in Home appliances, Electrical and Cooking appliances
- Experienced with PSI Inventory Management, Product Strategy, Development and Launches
- Keen Commercial Awareness to analyse Market and develop Strong and Effective Marketing Strategies
- Strong Analytical and Mathematical skills with a strong Business/Commercial acumen and Strong Financial Planning and Control so as to achieve profitability
- Good people skills and a Team Player.
- Strong MSN Office skills especially Outlook and Excel.
- Strong command of English and Mandarin. (Note: The nature of the job, involves extensive communication with Mandarin-speaking customers and Vendors)
- Possess class 3 license and preferably own a Car.
