Job Objectives
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) Global Markets IT division in Singapore is looking for an experienced System Analyst to join its derivatives development team to support the applications used by the bank’s treasury division, as well as initiatives in Data Centre/Application Migration
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a System Analyst in the field of IT Application development, maintenance, delivery and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure setup.
- Apply both classic (waterfall) and Agile (Scrum) methodologies in project execution.
- Analyse user (front to back office) requirements and formulate functional and technical design documents.
- Understand user/stakeholder requirements and formulate technical design documents.
- Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, delivery testing, and implementation.
- Implementation of middle and back-office systems for Group Global Markets
- Manage end to end testing for users with vendor to internal systems.
- Work with internal Change Control Management for deployment of changes.
- Work with internal infrastructure and security teams on implementations.
- Prepare and track the outstanding issue list and communicate to key stakeholders.
- Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Key Requirements
- More than 10 years working experience, with at least 5 years of project development/business analysis and projects/changes implementation experience in the financial industry, direct exposure in treasury business is preferred.
- Strong technical development background and experience with full project life cycle.
- Technical skills required are SQL Server, Oracle DB, Linux, Perl, Java, Aldon, Jira, Remedy, Control-M.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Setting up of connections to the other Interface Systems, batch processing, IBM MQ
- Migration of Environment including restoration and masking of data
- Preference given to candidates with capital markets and vendor-based software delivery experiences
Preferred Requirements:
- Good knowledge of treasury products – FX, Rates, Reuters Market Data platform and Dealing Voice Recording/Playback and Margin Trading.
- Experiences in Datacenter Migration, implementing the dealing system.
- Experience in Reuters, IPC vendor-based solutions, DCI, Marginman, and FinIQ.
- Windows and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Technical understanding of API, Messaging Queue and .NET
- Experience in Excel macro development
