JOB DESCRIPTION
As the designer, you will work closely with the creative director, to create amazing and experiential spaces that drive conversations and conversion. The candidate will have to develop crafted and engaging designs in a beautiful environment. Coming from brands/agencies, you will give shape to your outstanding ideas within the challenging, yet inspiring frame of corporate design.
MAIN DUTIES
- Responsible for creative excellence on projects from conceptualization to execution
- Work with the interior design team to develop design solutions
- Research concepts and materials to support the design team on technical issues influencing concept development
- Provide strategic thinking and analysis for a project being proposed
- Prepare and participate in client presentations
- Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to the final project completion
- Select furniture, materials, decor, and finishes.
- Attend site meetings, supervise sites, coordinates project progress, and ensure delivery of the project on schedule
- Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing, and trends in order to generate creative directions that inspire and surprise customers with strong visual impressions
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- A Candidate must possess at least Certification/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in design/ shopper engagement, preferably in the APAC region is required for this position
- Professional knowledge in space planning and conceptual design
- Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology
- Creative mindset and knowledge of all phases of Interior Design projects
- Good team player with the ability to work both independently and team-based environment, with a good sense of urgency and time management to meet tight deadlines
- Positive working attitude, self-motivated & hardworking
- Able to share ideas through sketches & 3D modeling
- Presentation and persuasion skills
- Attention to details
- Fluency in English
- Required Skills(s): AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign knowledge is an added advantage
