CLEANER CUM DISHWASHIER

Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Cleaner cum Dishwasher. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility while also managing dishwashing duties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties:

· Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

· Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

· Dusting and wiping surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.

· Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.

· Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.

· Ensuring cleanliness in common areas such as hallways and corridors.

Dishwashing Duties:

· Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

· Hand wash dishes and cookware as needed.

· Ensure that all dishes are properly sanitized and stored according to safety standards.

· Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when necessary.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.

Stocking and Inventory:

· Monitor cleaning and dishwashing supplies inventory and report shortages to the supervisor.

· Replenish supplies such as soap, detergent, and cleaning chemicals as needed.

· Keep storage areas organized and tidy.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

· Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

· Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.

Team Collaboration:

· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

· Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and a clean environment.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in cleaning and/or dishwashing preferred but not required.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.

· Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

· Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.

· Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

The position is located at a Punggol.

Hours:

5pm to 1am – 6 days a week. OT salary at 1.5 times basic rate.
