Location: Near Bugis MRT

Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm


The role of the Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and assisting team members to work towards achieving operational goals for the business across Asia Pacific.


The incumbent oversees contracts processing, shipment timetables and any other enquiries. He or she will also work closely with the technical support; sales and customer support functions to coordinate any activities within the markets supported.


At the same time, the successful candidate will also be responsible for learning and understanding the order to cash process across various systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily administration related to scanner contracts, fulfilments, replacements, RMAs, credits, and rebills.
  • Maintains accurate records, ensuring data integrity in sales and service systems (e.g., warranty, billing, subscriptions, etc.)
  • Manages demo scanners: reviews requests, maintains inventory, and liaises with various functions (technical support, trainers, sales, and couriers) for loaner requests.
  • Generates reports from existing data as required.
  • Monitors scanner order shipment status, communicates shipment plans to regional teams.
  • Assists in developing procedures, collaborates with business support, operations departments.
  • Researches and implements new methods to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensures documentation of supported processes and systems is current.
  • Complies with safety policies, reporting unsafe activities to supervisors or HR.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Performs other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, Order Management and Order Fulfilment, Supply Chain or customer support.
  • Proficiency in SAP workflows, particularly in order fulfilment and management processes (Order to Cash).
  • Familiarity with Windows environment.
  • Ability to learn software applications quickly. Experience with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to consistently follow through on orders to completion within a fast-paced, highly customized environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Reflecting a self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • Effective interpersonal, listening, and persuasive communication skills, enabling collaboration and teamwork within a dynamic, optimistic, and results-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with dependability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Can operate without constant supervision.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a growing international company.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, a proactive attitude, and the capacity to handle ambiguity with a hands-on approach.
