We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our client's team as a SAP Finance Application Support Specialist.
This role involves:
- Delivering fundamental functional and technical support for the core finance applications to their business users.
- Facilitating integration between internal/external applications and SAP Finance systems, along with any additional responsibilities as designated by the company.
- Engaging actively in finance-related activities during the monthly closing process, particularly within the SAP/HANA environment.
- Performing support tasks such as issue investigation and analysis, system configuration, data management, debugging, conducting root cause analysis, crafting documentation, and devising resolution strategies.
- Ensuring timely resolution of SAP Finance service requests in accordance with the service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assisting business users through application support, preparing end-user training materials, and conducting training sessions on SAP Finance/HANA as needed.
- Identifying and implementing transformative services that create new business value.
- Participating in a range of project activities, including defining systems strategies, capturing business requirements, designing system enhancements, conducting testing, training users, defining support procedures, and deploying diverse business solutions within strict timeframes.
Job Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in providing Level 1/2/3 support and development solutions for SAP Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Finance/HANA modules and familiarity with SAP integration with MM, PP, & SD modules.
- A background in Accounting is preferred.
- Experience with supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, and retail processes in large enterprise applications will be considered an asset.
- Strong research and analytical skills, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, enabling clear and concise information delivery.
- A problem-solver capable of making well-informed decisions on a variety of complex business and technical issues, minimizing business disruption.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently within a team context, serving internal stakeholders at all levels and, occasionally, engaging with external parties such as development teams and consultants.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English to be able to converse with diverse stakeholders
