Job Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Security Solutions: Develop and deploy security solutions to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and data.
- Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor the organization's networks for security breaches and investigate incidents when they occur.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses in the system.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting.
- Security Audits and Compliance: Perform security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Develop Security Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct regular penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
- Implement Security Tools: Deploy and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), anti-virus software, and encryption solutions.
- Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure security measures are integrated into system and software development.
- Research and Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience:5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, anti-virus software, and encryption technologies.
Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell is a plus.
- Certifications:Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
