Sustainability ESG Expertise: Working in close partnership with our client, the Director of Services will serve as the technical expert in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, guiding the integration of these principles into offerings and strategies. With a deep understanding of global sustainability trends and regional regulations, they will ensure alignment with industry-leading standards. Their role will focus on advising on ESG best practices, enhancing client understanding, and fostering sustainable business practices. Through technical expertise and thought leadership, they will contribute to long-term value creation and environmental stewardship.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategic Leadership and Development: Spearheading the development of a product

suite that aligns with the best standards and practices of the region. This involves

ensuring alignment with industry standards, client expectations, and the company's

values and objectives.

● Sales and Client Engagement: Acting as the primary expert on ESG strategy during

the sales process, leveraging in-depth knowledge to enhance client understanding, drive product adoption, and provide comprehensive sales support. The role requires

collaboration with the Head of Sales in APAC to develop market entry strategies,

prioritize key market segments, and engage with potential clients.

● Product and Service Innovation: Leading the creation and development of

services offering in APAC, a suite of services designed to complement our SaaS

technology. This involves working closely with the product development team to ensure

our offerings meet the evolving needs of our clients.

● Thought Leadership: Establishing oneself as a thought leader in the ESG domain

within private markets by contributing to panels, articles, and other public discourse

across APAC. This includes enhancing brand visibility and credibility through meaningful

engagements with the industry community.

● Revenue Growth: Playing an instrumental role in driving the company's revenue growth

by implementing strategic initiatives and sales enablement strategies. This role will be pivotal

in achieving significant financial milestones from both a technology and services perspective.


Qualifications:

· MBA and Bachelor's degree with excellent academic results.

· Minimum 10 years experience in enterprise B2B organisation, with speciality in ESG/sustainability services

· Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.

· Proven experience in selling services/solutions or ESG/sustainability services, preferably to SME, Mid Market, or Enterprise companies.

· Experience in selling SaaS/ESG solutions to decision-makers across the compliance, treasury, finance, procurement, ESG, sustainability, and supply chain departments.

· Knowledge and understanding of the unique challenges facing private companies as they seek to develop and implement ESG strategies, collect sustainability data, and report on their sustainability performance to a variety of stakeholders.

· Ability to generate leads and identify strategic areas for growth.

· Ability to develop business cases that articulate strategy, value propositions, required investments and financial returns.
