OVERVIEW & IMPACT:
Samsung Electronics Device Solutions is a global leader in Electronics and Semiconductor Industry. With the trend of semiconductors growth potential in South East Asia, we have identified a need to position a Senior Sales Professional to be stationed in Singapore to develop business pertaining to foundry services. The role is not only to bridge Samsung Electronics headquarters and global offices around the world but also work with the Singapore team to uncover the region’s business opportunity while providing valuable experience to grow the Singapore team. This further helps to contribute foundry ecosystem growth related to Singapore and South East Asia region. The identified candidate will join us as our Senior Sales Manager and will be our main contact window with our Samsung Electronics Headquarters team in Korea.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and analysis of government policies in Southeast Asia/India
- Communicate and collaborate with Head-quarter sales teams to support Singapore and South East Asia offices
- Develop new customers, bringing sales revenue related to foundry for targeted region
- Identify and build up talent pool within Singapore and South East Asia region
- Create Samsung Foundry brand awareness (including startups and local Universities)
- Sensing and analysis of Southeast Asia foundry market and business situation.
- Support to plan for manpower growth on mid to long term basis to address the South East Asia business opportunity
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimal BS degree or comparable engineering degree preferred
- Minimal 10 years of relevant Technology experience in Semiconductor industry
- Minimal 5 years of relevant foundry sales handling experience in international company or regional role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Ability to speak and write in Korean Fluently will be an added advantage
- Ability to speak Mandarin is a bonus point
